The Birmingham City School District has crowned the high school Baseball and Softball City Champion for 2022 and they “Bleed Blue!” In the return of the BCS City Tournaments, the Ramsay Rams and Lady Rams retain their spot as they defend their last district title since COVID postponed the annual event two years ago.
The baseball team defeated the Thundering Herd 10-0, and the softball team defeated the Lady Bisons 5-0 as both Championship games ended at A. H. Parker High School Saturday night.
Ramsay’s Head Baseball Coach, Darryl Dunbar, wins the title in his debut season for the Rams.
