The day began with baseball, as the Middle School Division Champion J. H. Phillips Academy, hosted the K-8 Division Champion W. J. Christian, in the BCS Middle School Championship title game. Phillips, under the direction of Coach Jim Nabors, were victorious over Christian, led by Coach Roosevelt Morrow, with a final score of 7-5 to claim the district title.

The Lioness of Phillips were victorious in softball as well to claim the BCS Middle School Championship over the Bush Hills Academy Hawks, 10 – 4. The K-8 Champions, Bush Hills Academy (Head Coach Stephen Hudson), represented their division well as they finished the season 12 – 3, and the champions of the Middle School Division and District, led by Head Coach Johnny Brown, completed an undefeated season at 11 – 0.

In Soccer, it was all Wildcats as both the Wilkerson Boys and Girls Soccer teams were crowned District Champions! Wilkerson Girls, Head Coach Shelton Williams, defeated K-8 Champion Inglenook, led by Coach Calvin Barlow, III, in a most competitive contest that went two overtimes, and concluded in a 3-1 shootout. Not to be out done, Wilkerson Boys, led by Coach Sharon Smith, scored a late goal to take the 1 – 0 victory over the Washington Braves and their first year Head Coach Joshua Holmes.
